Taylor's Fun While We Were Away

Adam and I just got back from London on Wednesday (post coming on that soon), and Taylor stayed with all the grandparents while we were gone.

She started off with Aunt Hehe, Alexis and Mama Donna picking her up from school and taking her to 'Nastics. She loved having them do gymnastics with her! Then, she went to Uncle Josh's softball game and cheered him on.

Friday morning, Aunt Hehe took her to visit Mama Donna at work. Mama Donna wasn't in her office, so Taylor took over her job!

Friday night she went to CHOM with Sophie. She loves going to CHOM, and asks to go there ALL THE TIME!

Serving ice cream at old-fashioned ice cream shop at CHOM.
She spent the rest of the weekend having a blast with Papa Rex, Mama Donna, Aunt Hehe and Uncle Josh.

Playing outside, her favorite thing!
Mom took her to church on Sunday, but Henley wasn't in the nursery yet, so Taylor didn't want to stay. When they got there, Aunt Chanda got Taylor out of Mama Donna's Sunday school class and took her to the nursery to play with Henley. Then, Mama Donna picked her back up and took her into church before Children's Church. When it was time to dismiss for Children's Church, Taylor didn't even really need Mama Donna to take her. She was so excited she took off by herself. Mama Donna finally caught up with her and got her in the right classroom. When Mama Donna went to pick her up, Taylor was sitting by the teacher and apparently helping teach the class! One of the ladies told Mom afterwards that Taylor got up and led everyone in singing, by self-appointment no less, they hadn't asked for volunteers! My little girl doesn't seem to have an introverted bone in her body, even when around children she doesn't know!

Sunday afternoon she swapped grandparents and went to Nannie and Papa's house. While there, she fed the fish, played on the new play set, and helped Nannie plant flowers. She also did the normal boat and golf cart riding. She had so much fun!

Here's something else she did, although I'm not sure what it is! :)

She was waiting on our front porch with Aunt Hehe when we got home. She had a BIG grin on her face when we pulled into the driveway. She has needed quite a bit of attention over the last two days, which we have definitely wanted to give her. Yesterday morning she DID NOT want to leave Mommy to go to school. She finally became okay with it when I reminded her it was 'Nastics day.

Nannie said she did pretty well with us not being there, and she only really asked for us at night time and first thing in the morning. I'm glad she did well and didn't miss us too much (although, I am glad to know she missed us). She loves her grandparents soooo much, so I knew she would do fine.
