2nd Trimester

My second trimester is almost over! The time has flown by this time around. I guess having a little one already at home makes it go by much more quickly!

We waited until 20 weeks to tell Taylor she was having a baby sister, and she went with us to the ultrasound. She got very confused because I told her we were going to see Baby Sister and she thought I was having her, like Aunt Hehe just had Andi. It took her about a week to quit telling people that her baby sister was here. She had all her teachers at daycare worried because they know I'm not due until January!

Taylor has been very sweet. She always wants to rub, hug and kiss my belly. I have to watch out though, or she'll pull my shirt up in public to show others her baby sister!

Just this week she told us that Baby Sister was her best friend! I hope she always says that, but I have my doubts.

During our long car trip to Missouri, Adam and I finally decided on a name. We have been throwing it around for a while, but I finally got Adam to commit. Her name will be Leah Brook Tomlin. Leah is after Adam's maternal grandmother, Leatrice, and Brook is after his paternal grandmother. It was her maiden name. It's also Papa's middle name and Uncle Brad's middle name.

Below are (horrid) pictures of my belly each month, compared with Taylor's pregnancy. I don't remember feeling this uncomfortable this early with Taylor. Sleeping is already tough and I'm already sore at the top of my belly where everything is getting pushed. I don't say this to complain, I want to remind myself of this if I ever think about getting pregnant again. I've heard a lot of people say that you just know when you're done, and I think I might be there. I'm not 100%, but I'm pretty close! I know it'll all be worth it when I have little Leah in my arms though! I can't wait to have two little girls running around our house!

17 weeks with Taylor                           16 weeks with Leah

20 weeks with Taylor                                   20 weeks with Leah

24 weeks with Taylor                       24 weeks with Leah

By week 24 with Taylor, I had only gained about 4 lbs. I don't even want to mention how much I've gained this time around! I'm still hoping I'll stay under a 30 lbs weight gain though.

Also, I think my belly has grown even more in the last week. I'm pretty sure I actually felt it growing last Wednesday, so I already look bigger than the 24 week picture.

Taylor's weekend with Mama Donna and Papa Rex

Mama Donna and Papa Rex kept Taylor while we were in Missouri. She had such a great weekend with them! Papa Rex took her to CHOM on Friday with Sophie and Sharon. Then, he took her for a Yogurt Mountain date and to show her off at his work. Saturday she watched the football game (and watched Mommy and Daddy get rained on) and carved pumpkins. Mama Donna keeps her busy during her visits with them!

Kissing baby Andi!
My precious girl!
Snuggling with Aunt Hehe
Playing outside...this girl LOVES being outside!
Taylor's pumpkin!

Tummy time with Andi! She's going to be such a great big sister!

No words necessary!

Missouri

This past weekend, Adam and I headed to Columbia, MO to watch Alabama. This is Mizzou's first year in the SEC and we didn't know when we'd play there again, so we decided to make the trip. We spent an afternoon in St. Louis touring the Anheuser Busch brewery and going to the top of the Arch. We had a lot of fun on what was probably our last trip alone for a little while!

These were the nicest stables I've ever seen!

And the nicest brewery! Not that I've seen many, or any!

Bottling plant
Drinking my Pepsi after the tour!

Such pretty trees we got to see all weekend during our 20+ hours in the car!

Outside at the bottom of the arch. We got a picture at the top, but it wasn't very good.
Pre-game and pre-rain
We weren't at the top, but we were about 5 rows from it!
The Hill, standing room only
We were SOAKED by the end of the game!
The game was the second worst game, weather-wise, that I've ever sat through, but we stuck it out until the end. Or, almost the end, there were about 2 minutes left in the game. We got a great win though, so it made it a little better. Roll Tide!!

Football Season Begins

Adam and I started off the football season headed to Dallas for our big game with Michigan in the Cowboys Stadium. Danielle, a friend of ours that taught with us in China lives in Tyler, TX so she made the drive to come see us in Dallas. We just spent time walking around the mall, eating lunch and catching up. I'm so glad she was willing to drive to come see us. I miss her!

We attended an Alumni pre-game tailgate party!

Andi's Here!

My newest niece arrived on August 30, 2012! She weighed a whopping 9 lbs and 3 oz!! My sister is a rock star for delivering her!

Shortly after delivery

The whole fam with their newest addition!
Love her so much already!

Taylor is smitten!
Already a HUGE Alabama fan!
I just had to post this picture...Josh did a great job taking pictures of his new daughter, but the sleep deprived Daddy spelled her name wrong in some of the pictures!
