Magical Times! - Day 1

Back in September, we took Taylor to Disney! It was her first time, and the first time in a really long time for Adam and me. We loved it!

I had planned to post some advice, but apparently several things have changed since we went, so I guess there's not much need. One thing I will say is that 4-5 days isn't really enough. I wore Adam out! He said that was tougher than the Ironman! It would have been nice to go back to the hotel some afternoons and swim or go to Downtown Disney, but I felt like we had to do EVERYTHING while we were there.

September was a good time to go because the lines weren't very long. I don't think we ever stood in line more than about 20 minutes and that was rare. Of course, if it was going to be more than 20 minutes, we got a Fast Pass and came back later.

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. Our room wasn't great, but the hotel as a whole was beautiful!

First picture!
Alice in Wonderland!
I think her favorite ride was Ariel's ride. We rode it 3 or 4 times! She also loved being in Belle's story!

Taylor got to be Phillipe in a play with Belle!

After playing Philippe and a few more rides and lunch, Taylor got to get made over from a fairy godmother in training at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!

One thing Taylor loved was getting all of the characters autographs. They sell books there, but you could easily make your own and take it with you.

Rapunzel

Aurora

We purchased the photo pass before we went (saved $50!) and when we got the pictures back, we had a ton of just the characters! Such cute pictures!

I recommend the photo pass but definitely be aware that there's not always a camera person around. I thought there would be at the dinners and breakfasts, but we had to take our own pictures there.

Taylor rode every ride she was tall enough to ride, and several we rode multiple times! She loved it!

We finished out our first day with dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table.

We had one tired little princess on our hands!
